Located the heart of East London, Maximillian Wölfgang Gallery seeks to fill the gaps of the local art scene by collaborating with a diverse group of artists who are not risk averse. We exhibit the work of emerging and mid-career contemporary artists working across a wide range of styles and media, including installation, video and performance.

Our Story

Established in 2017 by artist, Arika von Edler, Maximillian Wölfgang Gallery seeks to retain and strengthen London's contemporary art community. The gallery is named after the owner’s late brother, who was an incredible artist and believed deeply in supporting outsider artists. His beliefs remain at the core of our mission statement by supporting artists who have been historically marginalized.
